ODEX PRIVATE LIMITED

Based in Singapore, has been distributing Japanese Animation Programs since 2001. ODEX’s business includes distribution of Japanese Animation Programs (Films and TV Series) and Japanese live-action Films to Cinemas, TV Stations and VOD platforms; Merchandise Licensing and Mall Events.

 

For the past 15 years, ODEX has been the pioneer to bring Anime Films into South East Asia cinemas and growing the fan base year on year.

 

ODEX is the leading Japanese Animation Film distributor in South East Asia with a strong presence covering 10 countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Mongolia.

 

ODEX releases an average of 12 Anime Films per year.

 

Currently ODEX distributes Anime Films to 42 countries: South East Asia (11), South Asia (5), West Asia (3), North Asia (3), Oceania (2), Europe (1), Middle East (13) and Africa (4).

A history of ODEX’s film distribution is as follows:

  • 2010, ODEX brought Japanese Anime Films into Singapore cinemas

  • 2012, ODEX expands Japanese Anime Film distribution into Malaysia cinemas and start to grow the market

  • 2013, ODEX expands Japanese Anime Film distribution into Indonesia and Philippines

  • 2016, ODEX expands Japanese Anime Film distribution into Vietnam & Brunei

  • 2020, ODEX expands Japanese Anime Film distribution into Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Mongolia

  • 2021, ODEX expands Japanese Anime Film distribution into the Middle East (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Turkey, Cyprus, Mauritius.)

  • 2021, ODEX expands Japanese Anime Film distribution into South Asia (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal)

  • 2022, ODEX expands Japanese Anime Film distribution into West Asia (Azerbaijan, Armenia & Georgia) and Africa (South Africa, Morocco, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda)
